I don’t know why they only do this on iTunes since the method they are using is not selling the soundtracks but rather creating playlists that point to the various songs on other Albums. It would be easy enough to do this with Urge, or Zune which both support playlists. I had gone through and sucked down the soundtrack to Project Gotham Racing one song at a time. (yes I know PGR is not an EA title) Electronic Arts has done an amazing job kicking up the quality of Sound Tracks in Games.
I’d be excited for Microsoft to offer Xbox 360 Sound Track downloads that you could then use in any game. There are a lot of songs from Tony Hawk, and PGR2 that I would rather listen to than the music in Crackdown.
