Your iPhone gets iPowned by my Helio Ocean’s Outlook Synchronization

I may not have your cool photo application, but my Helio now Syncs with Outlook / Microsoft Exchange, and does so as well as any CrackBerry.  With a great browser and a QWERTY keyboard and the whole dual slider thing… Helio’s Ocean is sexy, and practical.

For the first 60 days the beta is free, but it moves to $9.95 a month after that.  Cheaper than a comparable plan from AT&T, but not no brainer it would be if it were free, or $10 once.

Responding to an e-mail on the QWERTY keyboard is a breeze, I haven’t had a chance to try a reply, vs, a reply all.  The Calendar updates when the server does, so if an appointment changes you know right away, which is a distinct advantage over the iPhone.

The application also adds the ability to read PDF’s which comes in handy for reading attachments, I haven’t had a chance to check all formats, but PNG, GIF, JPG, PDF, HTML, and DOC seem to work fine.  Helio used to support PowerPoint so that may work as well.

  1. I just bought an Iphone and it’s already gotten me laid twice. Why would anyone want your piece of crap helio with all its ugly buttons and hinges? Get a better job, make more money and step into the 21st century.

  2. iPhone – overpriced, over-rated POS. Awful newbie-friendly keyboard and no 3G.

As with everything Apple – people buy for the name and because they “think” it’ll get them laid.

  3. congrats to joey! he FINALLY lost his virginity, all thanks to his iPhone! he obviously couldn’t have done it under his own merits.

again, i’m really happy for joey. perhaps he can use the 8gb iPhone to store all the men’s numbers he will be getting. because we all know only gay men have iPhones.
