I have a flair for comedy and that is why I keep track of contemporary comedians and actors. It’s not very often that you get to know about a comedian who is a writer as well.  Such a personality is Elizabeth Stamatina “Tina” Fey. Tina Fey is best known for her writing in Saturday night live. In fact Tina Fey Snl writer has many  awards in her kitty including the prestigious Emmy and Golden Globe awards. Nowadays she dons the hats of producer, writer and actor simultaneously. She is so full of energy and that’s what I like the most about her. You may have heard a lot about her but did you know that Fey’s mother is Greek while her father is partly Scottish and partly German? The talented lady was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Tina Fey Snl writer had an innate sense of comedy in her. Her penchant for humor was evident in her young years. Fey studied in Beverly Hills Middle School. While reading there she could sense her inherent flair for comedy and she did a project on the topic when she was only in the 8th grade.  Tina Fey Snl writer  did her graduation in drama from the University of Virginia in 1992. After that she shifted to Chicago. There she did a daytime job. Gradually she picked up the comic skills and timings and this helped her greatly in the coming days. Fey received the limelight when she started writing for NBC’s renowned Saturday Night Live in the year 1997. She received accolades for her work and two years later she became the head writer. She along with her colleagues bagged an Emmy award in 2002 for their outstanding work. You may be a bit surprised to know that maternity could not deter this talented lady from returning to work. She was in an agreement with NBC and the through professional that she is evident from her return. After her stint with NBC, Fey formed 30 Rock. It is basically a sitcom that is being produced by Broadway video in collaboration with NBC. It is said to be based on her experience in SNL. It has gone down well with the audience.
