Storage Prices Dropping: 1 terabyte Sata for under $200
I don’t usually get too excited over prices of hard disks, but I was browsing for my next set of drives for a Raid Array and thought I was going to be looking at 250 Gig Sata’s times 4, but I came across a deal that was too good to pass up.
1 Terabyte Sata for $194.00 ! I was floored. For working with HD Video this is huge. I can get 4 of these and have quadruple the storage for only twice the price.
These are “Perpendicular” Drives which increases their storage density but also makes them more resistant to shock so they also make a great External drive if you pair them with a $25 Sata Enclosure.
