Dane Cooks Girlfriend Raquel Houghton wants to be American Idol

Valli Girls front woman and current/former girlfriend of Dane Cook, Raquel Houghton, 28, is aiming to be the next American Idol.

There is not much out on the interwebs about her, but from her interview we’ve included below, Raquel Houghton singer reveals a little about her bio and points out that she is a waitress at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles. Maybe that’s where she met Dane Cook (just a guess)?

It’s not quite known if Raquel Houghton is actually still with the comedian/actor or if she’s just Dane Cook’s ex-girlfriend, as she was first spotted with him back in 2006 at the premiere of his movie Employee of the Month.

On Raquel Houghton’s Myspace band page, she doesn’t appear to have any photos with him there either. And because Raquel Houghton’s myspace page is set to private, we’re not able to actually tell if she is still with Dane anymore.

Because Raquel Houghton’s age is 28, this is her last chance at AI stardom. Either way her prospects at becoming the next American Idol has some merit because of her face talent which I would give at least a solid 8. As for her singing ability, I’m not too sure.  Just looking at her group photos of her band wreaks of wannabe Spice Girls. But who knows, maybe if things don’t work out on American Idol, something tells me she might still have a shot at America’s Next Top Model.
