Cherry Blossom 10 Miler

This year, the credit union cherry blossom 10 miler for 2009 was held in Washington dc just like every year. This was the 37th running held and has participates from all over the world. What's great about the race is positive atmosphere and energy you get from the other runners and you get to run with a lot of people. People get up early as 5am in preparation for the race.

Here is a recap of the cherry blossom 10 miler results for 2009. The winning individual female is Lineth Chepkurui from Kenya and the winning individual of the male is Ridouane Harroufi from Morocco. It is also worth noting that Ridouane Harroufi and Lineth Chepkurui also won the cherry blossom 10 miler in 2008 in their respective categories also. The winning team for the Corporate team race is Gannett 1. The winning team for the Government agency team race is Fast Future Fysicians. The winning team for the Media team race is CQ Auction Block.

The cherry blossom 10 miler for 2010 will be held on April 11, 2010. Registration will be opened from December 1st to 10th. Upon registration, you will be entered into a lottery system where you have a chance to become one of the 12,000 people to become selected as a runner. There is also a group system where people can enter into as a group to avoid situations where if someone who get selected don’t come to the race because a friend didn’t get selected as well.
