If Microsoft had pages that it said “Google Chrome is not supported, please install Internet Explorer 8” people would cry foul. But what happens when Google does that to Opera?
I use Opera 10.x and love it. It is fast, seems to work with about 98% of websites with no issue, and seems to be more stable than Chrome or IE. I also like it’s Download Manager and other User Experience Elements better than Chrome, IE, or FireFox download chess game.
But I am not the “average” user. Opera doesn’t have a huge market share, so it is hard to get people to justify doing any extra work to handle supporting, and testing for it. There is more to supporting a browser than just making sure your site loads in it, if you are a service like Google charging money and storing sensitive information, you have to make sure the browser won’t muddle that information and all the potential actions work. This could be hundreds of man hours for a product like Adwords herunterladen.
So maybe my Link Bait of a title is a little harsh, but for me Opera works just fine with Adwords. So why not just display an error that says “This product not fully tested with Opera, use at your own risk” instead Google Adwords when you login Adwords says: “We’re sorry, the AdWords interface does not work with Opera.”
But if you Lie to it, it works just fine kostenlos minecraft downloaden handy. [ Settings –> Quick Preferences –> Edit Site Preferences ]
That said… I am not willing to run it. Much like my BankOfAmerica.com account I am unwilling to run weird things because if I screwed it up it could be very expensive. I’m not willing to risk screwing up my Adwords account historische kursdaten herunterladen. More than once I have accidently made a campaign that had an outrageous daily limit go live and burned through a few Hundred dollars. The last thing I need is to find out Opera does pre-caching and turned on a few hundred extra campaigns, or closed my account.
