Enabling Hidden Features In Google Chrome: GPU Acceleration And How To Enable It

By going to about: flags in Google Chrome, you can enable many hidden features in Google Chrome. One of the most useful of these features is the ability to enable GPU acceleration. This speeds up the rendering of the page, and often improves the appearance of screen fonts.

GPU Acceleration is a feature that is still in testing, so it may not work with all hardware, or may not render all pages correctly, but it has worked very well for me on all of the computers I have tested.

Step by step enabling GPU acceleration:

1- In the address bat, type in “about: flags”

2- Look for GPU Accelerated Composting

3-Click Enable, easy right?

4- You will now need to restart your browser. At the bottom of the page there should  a link. Enjoy!
