Coda Automotive opened their first mall store. The Coda Electric Vehicle (EV) is actually a pretty good alternative to the Nissan Leaf. While a bit pricier, the 110 mile range on the car makes it a viable commuter car and fleet vehicle. Just like the Ford Taurus used to be, and the Ford Focus is becoming, Coda is likely to be the defacto standard for Electric Fleets, with its 4 hour charge time, and great range, you could conceivably commute 70 miles to work and still have charge left over to run errands after work.
Coda is an All-electric, not a Hybrid. It uses lithium iron phosphate batteries and has a 134 HP motor that generates just over 200 Foot Pounds of Torque.
