IBM, Tokyo Ohka Kogyo aim to make cheaper, user-friendly solar energy
To establish new, low-cost methods for bringing next generation solar energy products to market that are more affordable and easier to install than those available today, Tokyo Ohka Kogyo Co Ltd and researchers at IBM’s Yorktown Heights, NY-based lab are collaborating to jointly develop processes, materials, and equipment suitable for the production of copper-indium-gallium-selenide solar cell modules.
