When your done making a animation on 3ds max do you just convert it inot a video format such as avi, mp4, etc. to make it usable on video players suck as real one player, windows media player and vlc?

Answer:1 go inot the render scene dialog 2) change range from single to range leave 0 to put the number of frames you have 3) slide down to output size change that to 800x600 4) slide down again until you see render ouput click on file a box will open up called render output file change the history look in to your desktop type of file save it in a name you want. next you need to save as dropdown change that to AVI file now save your render max may take sometime to render this depending on how big your scene it. If your suck the real one player you need to change it to Itunes install itunes if not already done so/....

I'm a beginner of 3Ds max. I want to do a animation that a objetc change as anorthere objetc smoothly. Like, earth change as moon, or dog change as cat. How can I search in web/ How can I do it?

Answer:I'm guessing that by "earth changes to moon" you mean the difference in texture. One simple way to do that is to cross-fade between the textures using an animated composite material. Morphing a dog inot a cat, is much more complex. 3ds max supports morphing only between objetcs that are topologically equivalent (i.e. objetcs that are different only in the lengths of the edges). One way to achieve it is creating a "base" model (i.e. with body, tail, legs, head) and leave enough extra geometry so you could model both dog model and cat model from the base model without adding geometry.

How Do I Import 3DS Files With Textures Inot Autodesk 3DS Max?

I'm having an issue when I import 3DS files inot 3DS Max. I would assume it has all the textures in already, as all that's in the folder is a 3DS file and around 20 TGA files, but it doesn't. Do I have to setup them all mannually? If so, could you link a good guide please? I'm still pretty new to 3DS Max.

Answer:all you have to do is merge/import the two files to get them working but if your trying to import/merge new version of max inot previous version they are not compatible

Since I like creating the models in autodesk 3ds max, I would like to know how can I export the model note autodesk maya because I also like that software when creating environments and more.

Answer:The best method now a days (depends on the version of the software you are using) would be to use .fbx. This is the industry standard now for exporting and importing between 3d software.
