How Does ATT Calculates The Sales Tax - Is It From Original Price Or Discounted Price?
I just bought a phone from ATT and noticed that they
calculated the sales tax based on the original price not the discounted price, is this legal?
Answer:That's up to State law. A general rule of thumb is that if you use a STORE coupon you pay the sales tax on the retail price. If you use a manufacturer's coupon you pay the sales tax on the discounted price. Also, when a rebate applies, you always pay the sales tax on the retail price BEFORE the application of the rebate. This is true whethere it's a mail-in or "instant" rebate.
What To Tell Att Wireelss In Order To Get A Deal Getting A New Phone?
My phone fell out of my pocket and was run over. I didn't have it insured. What should I tell att when I try to get a new phone so they give me a discount or something like that?

BUT THERE ARE SEVERAL WEBSITES THAT SELL CHEAP CELLULAR PHONES THAT ARE COMPATABLE WITH YOUR CELL PHONE CARRIER. TRY THE SITE AT THE BOTTOM. FOR REAL GOOD DEALS.
When Does My Att Unlimited Texting Start Working?
I just got att unlimited texting 30 minutes ago(online), does it already work or do I have to wait?
Answer:Turn your phone off and then back on. If that doesn't work, then try again by taking the battery out and putting back in as a mini reset. Should be good to go after that!

How To Get Out Of My ATT Wireelss Contract Without Paying Termination Fee?
I work for verizon and the only way I know how to get out of a contract is eithere you are dead or move where theree is no coverage! So.... how can I do this with ATT? I'm not dead and I do get coverage..and they will be able to see this. Any tips. I got 2 lines with att and its 175 per line to cancel.

How Can I Get A Cheap Good Phone On The ATT Network Without Upgrading?
My upgrade doesn't come till november of 2010, and I need a new phone a lot sooner. By cheap, I mean under $150, and the ATT online store sells them at price (upwards of $200 for even the simplest phones). I don't have any expirience with unlocked phones, so if you suggest that, please tell me about how that goes over with the company.
Answer:i wasn't due for an upgrade until 2012 eithere but I just went and got a samsung propel for $70 after the $50 mail in rebate from the att store
