i heard that a new xbox 360 is coming out. it is black and it is going to have a 120 gb hard drive and hdmi output. Does the prenium xbox 360 have this. If not, then what is the difference between the xbox with HDMI and the xbox without HDMI. What does HDMI even do?

Whats The Difference Between Sonys Official HDMI And A Cheap HDMI Cable?

Apparently, I heard the official Sony HDMI cable is best for PS3 for better quality and a sharper image. I'm currently using a cheap HDMI cable and wondering if I should upgrade to the Sony HDMI. Apparently the Sony cables are 1.3v my cable is pretty old so I'm assuming its 1.2v, also I guess 1.3v has some sort of updated features?

Answer:if your getting picture and sound thought the cheaper hdmi then your all set no need to buy a different cable(if its a 1080p tv and you are able to watch blu ray at that resolution then great). Wire company's make lots of money making you think that you need to but super high end cables when truth be told you dont.

I have a ps3 and I want an hdmi cable for the best picture. Now Sony has official hdmi cables for $60.00 but I've found hdmi cables on Ebay for $2.00-15.00. I know the Sony cables work because it says Sony but I don't know about the other cables. Do they offer the same performance or are the ones on ebay just a scam?

What Is The Point Of Having An HDMI Video Input And An HDMI Video Output On My Receiver?

My Onkyo has a HDMI Video input and Video Output... I still have to connect a fiber optic from my HD DVD player to the receiver to get Audio, there is no HDMI Audio Input or Output. What is the purpose of the HDMI in and out? I could just connect my DVD player video directly to the TV through HDMI and then Audio through the receiver via fiber optic. Why would my receiver have this HDMI Video Input and Output feature?

And unfortunately, hdmi components will not work on a standard tv set. HDMI is designed for high definition tv's that can display an aspect such as 720p or 1080i. Standard tv sets can only display a resolution of 480 lines !
