So Im applying for a job at this supermarket which is always looking for people and everybody gets jobs there. Two of my friends in the last 2 weeks got jobs. And theyre getting pretty desperate because theyre looking for temporary workers if theres a strike. I applied online and last time they called me (i got talked out of going to the interview.) without me calling them. I dont know if i should call them this time. My friend always said i should call but i worry about coming across as pushy. And should I Iapply at the temp workers job fair too? IOr should I just stay wiith my online app? And should I call?
Answer:Well in my opinion you should probably go and do an interview. A lot of employers that sit face to face with possible employees like to see the attitude of the person. Sometimes pushy is a good thing showing that things will get done when you are put on a task

If you want to work with animals it would be helpful to get as much experience related to the career you want to pursue as you can. Sometimes places tend to look more at your experience than your degree.
You can gain experience by going to camps, volunteering, an internship, a job, etc.
http://www.sandiegozoo.org/jobs/keeper_faq.html
What are some other ways to gain animal experience?
Some places to look for volunteer jobs or internships might be:
• Veterinary offices
• Animal training classes (does your dog need obedience training?)
• Local Humane Society
• Local Park Service
• Wildlife rehabilitation centers (like for wolves, bears, big cats, birds of prey, and even bats)
• Animal shelters
• Farms (for domestic animals, or even ostrich, llama, or butterfly farms)
• Pet breeders (those that breed specific kinds of dogs, cats, or horses)
• Horse stables and boarding facilities
• 4-H Clubs

What Jobs Are There In The Entertainment Industry?
I dream of having a job in the music or movie industry. I am wondering what jobs involve coming up with movie or cd covers. Also what education I would need for that. I would also like to know what jobs involve picking songs out for movie soundtracks. Please do not say a composer, because not all movies use composers. For instance, Garden State used separate artists' music. Also what other jobs are there besides a model, actor, singer, writer, director, or producer?
Answer:www.billboard.com

www.L2Pnet.com
www.bandloop.com
