My 9 year old daughter has to do a project for school on North Carolina. We are trying to find a drink or a snack that is made in North Carolina to bring as samples for the kids in her class. As an example my other daughter had her project on Florida and we brought in Florida orange juice for the class. Does anyone have a resonable ideas?

Answer:cheerwine is a local soda..but pepsi was created here
The Birthplace of Pepsi is located in historic New Bern, North Carolina. Pepsi-Cola was first invented by Caleb Bradham in his pharmacy in 1898. The store is located in the original location where Bradham first invented Pepsi-Cola. The Birthplace of Pepsi is owned and operated by Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New Bern, Inc. and first opened its doors on the 100th Anniversary of Pepsi-Cola.
Where In North Carolina Can I Find The Discount Furniture Stores?
I heard that you can get nice furniture where they make it in North Carolina for really great prices. Does anyone know of a website that I can go to? Or a specific store that has the best prices? And are the prices really that good?
Answer:The NC furniture makers are generally located in and around Asheville, NC. They are all independent of each other, thus I'm not sure there is one website that brings all, or even, most of them together.
Is North Carolina Or Texas A Good Place To Live For Hispanic People?
I am now finishing my bachelors degree here in Miami, FL but I want to leave the state with my wife (she is Hispanic also) to go to Raleigh, North Carolina or Dallas/ Austin, Texas. I have heard many stories of how up north there is a lot of hate/racism towards Hispanic people. Does anyone know if these are good/safe places for Hispanic couple like me and my wife?
Answer:Raleigh and Austin are similar, diverse medium sized cities with a lot of colleges in the area, but I personally prefer Raleigh. It's a very nice city and most people are friendly there. There are more Hispanic people in Austin and in most areas of Texas compared to NC so if you would rather live in an area with more Hispanic people, then I would suggest Austin but I think you would enjoy Raleigh as well and there is also a large Hispanic population in Raleigh, but I honestly don't think it should be an issue. I’ve never encountered any racism or issues of intolerance in Raleigh, most people in the triangle area seem accepting of all types of people as there is a lot of diversity as a result of all the local colleges (NC state, UNC and Duke) and recent immigrants. Compared to other southern cities, Raleigh is very liberal. I’m sure there are some racist people in Raleigh, but unfortunately there are racist people in every city, in every country and again, I’ve never seen or heard of any major issues of intolerance in the Raleigh area.
Raleigh is a suburban city with a lot of nice neighborhoods, a nice downtown, and if you like shopping, there’s a lot of nice malls. It's a great place for families. Almost all neighborhoods are safe, crime is relatively low in Raleigh for a city of it’s size. If you do decide to move there, avoid the neighborhoods immediately to the south of downtown, it’s not an extremely dangerous area, but there’s better areas to live in Raleigh. North Raleigh, Cary and the new condos downtown are the best areas to live. The coast is about 2 hours from Raleigh and the mountains are 2 hours west. Washington DC is only a few hours to the north. Forbes Magazine has ranked Raleigh as the best city in America for business and careers for the second year in a row. There are lot’s of jobs available in the Research Triangle Park, which is considered the Silicon Valley of the east. Homes are affordable and the cost of living is good considering the population of the triangle area.

Austin has better nightlife than Raleigh and a good music scene and some nice areas to live, but I still prefer Raleigh because of it’s proximity to the ocean, mountains, etc and the friendly people.
Hopefully this helps. Good luck with your decision.
What Can They Do In North Carolina Once My Vehicle Is Reposessed?
My vehicle is in the running for reposession and I was wondering what can be done to me in north carolina. I have a car that is 4 years old and already paid for, can they take it or also can they put a hold on my banking acct. leagally in nc?
Answer:Unless your other car was put up as collateral to get the repossessed cars loan, they cannot come and take it, they have no right to. They will not seize or put a hold on your bank account either.
Now, what they will do is sell the car after they repossess it, and will bill you for the difference. If you do not pay that (and the repo would go on your credit) they will sue you and then they could garnish your wages or somehow attach your bank account.
