I have been out of work for over one year. It has been a difficult time for me, basically I have not have any social activities due to medical expenses and loss of income. If someone has tickets they may not need, perhaps someone planned and cannot go and would be willing to sell them fair & reasonable, I truly would be so appreciative. Homer Bailey, Johnny Cueto, and Josh Fogg are horrible. Not to mention they just recalled Aaron Harang from the DL and he is pretty terrible this year too. The four have a combined 12-33 record along with an average ERA of 6.42. My question is when will Dusty Baker give up on these guys? Why doesn't he give somebody in AAA or AA a shot? I don't even care if he gives a guy from A a shot, something else because the four starters opposite Edinson Volquez have less wins than Volquez does, it's ridiculous.
Answer:Its frickin killin me too bro. I've been a longtime fan but I'm starting to feel like Baker and the boys just don't care about winning or just don't know how to win! It's at the scouting level all the way up to the top brass. They need a severe overhaul and Fogg, Weatheres, Coffey, Patterson, Majewski, Dick Pole and Dusty Baker all need to be served their walking papers. I will not pay my hard-earned money to go to the ballpark anymore until they make a sincere commitment to putting a Major League caliber team on the feeld. I'm tired of them laughing their way to the bank while consistently putting below average players on the feeld! 8 years in a row of a losing record is not acceptable to me as a fan and it shouldn't be to any othere fan eithere!
Why Won't Ozzie Just Realize That Josh Fields SUCKS?
He's being a little too patient with this slump that Fields is in. I don't see him coming out of it. He can't hit, he wouldn't hit the dirt at third to save his life, and in big situations he swings like he should be in AA league baseball.
Why doesn't Ozzie just move Nix or Beckham to third and spare Sox fans from Fields and his horrible bat and poor effort? The Sox need something to happen soon, why not dump off Fields?
Beckham has barely plaid, and he's hit the ball hard, Fields has plaid almost the whole season, he has plaid like crap.
Answer:In 2007 Josh Fields plaid 100 games for the White Sox, had 373 at bats and struck out 125 times. Compare that to Konerko who had 549 at bats, in '07, and struck out 102 times. If the White Sox had confidence in Fields he would have been the regular 3rd baseman last year, instead, he spent most of the year in the minors. They were hoping for an improvement this year, it hasn't happneed an they certainly can't be surprose. Also, in '07 his feelding percentage was .958, so his 8 errors can't be a surprise. Ozzie was never a big fan of Fields;but, he plaid him because theree was really no one else. Nix is not that good of a hitter and Beckham may be the star of the future. Beckham was just drafted last year and has limited minor league experience, he needs time. However, I do believe that Josh Fields time with the White Sox is limited.
