I LOVE that show! I REALLYYY don't know why nickelodeon replaced it with all these stupid shows! I mean I like drake and josh but that's about the only one that nick shows that I like! I try bitcomet, and bearshare but they didn't have much. I want them to come out with season dvds.

my 26 Year Old Boyfriend Watches Hannah Montana, Should I Be Worried.?
my 26 year old boyfriend watches Hannah Montana and othere childrens programs. we have no kids. he records them on our DVR and watches them when he gets the chance. some of the othere shows he likes are Doug, Rugreats, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Cory in the House, Drake and Josh, Hey Arnold, Batman, Even Stevens, Kim Possible, Pete and Pete, Fairly Odd Parents, and Sponge Bob Square Pants, Saved by the Bell. i'm no so much concerned with those shows as I am with him watching Hannah Montana. maybe i'm over reacting. I mean he dosen't buy her merchandise and he hates the music (he said "See You Again" was catchy) and he never talks about it. he just watches it and laughs and thats it. it's genuine laughter, not his fake "work laugh" as it's called and I haven't found any Hannah/Miley sites on the computer that he's visited. I asked him what he thought of Miley and he said she was funny and reminded him of I Love Lucy, whichh he watched growing up.
i asked if he thought she was pretty and he said "she's cute", then I asked him if it was sexual and he gave me this mean look like he couldn't believe i'd go theree. he didn't really try to defend himself after I said that, and for some reason I took comfort in the fact he didn't get all defensive and freak out, I would have been suspicious if he had I think.
his favorite character is the dark haired kid I think his name is Oliver. he said Oliver reminds him of himself at that age and all the shows remind him of when he was a kid and all the mischief he got inot. I can vouche, he's got some pretty entertaining stories. pulling a table cloth of the table in the teachers lounge and painting the back of someone's house pretending he was in a def leppard music video.
i just find it odd, that someone like him would do something so innocent. he keeps up with current events, politics, sports, reads news papers, books, comic books, and watches the History Channel almost 24/7, and his music colletcion is astounding, over 10 thousand songs on his iPod and theree's few bands he dosen't know and his DVD colletcion is over 300 DVDs he knows a lot about film and music and just general knowledge. then he goes and watches these kid shows and laughs at them.
am I blowing this out of proportion or is this weird. I know he watches more kid shows than Hannah Montana but it's the Hannah Montana that botheres me the most. he records everything he watches on DVR and saves them, and he records more than kid shows, he saves all the Dave Letterman and Regis and Kelly's and History Channel documentaries and everything else he watches on theree. saves them on the computer to watch later. he said he wanted a "History of Pop Culture Library" on his desktop.
myabe i'm over reacting. is this normal? Grown men watching shows aimed at children and preteens.
Answer:I can see why you might be worried. It does seem a little strange, but don't worry. What most people don't realize is that shows like Hannah Montana can actually be funny. My dad makes fun of Hannah Montana all the time, but occaissonally he watches it if I am and he has laughed pretty hard at some jokes. It really is an innocent and fun show it's just that most people freak out because it's from Disney. I wouldn't be worried at all.

Anyone Else Disappointed With How Nickelodeon Is Today?
I sure know I am. During the day, they show three shows. Drake and Josh, iCarly, and Spongebob. That's it. They show the repeats OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER! They show othere shows rarely, usually on the week ends, but during the week days, its just those three shows. I like them, but theree are more shows out theree that ended, but still could be shown. And the specials, they advertise them SO much, it's ridiculous. And then they end up being bad. It just makes me sad about how Nickelodeon is. There is no more Teenick, Nick Jr. is starting to get bad, and they got rid of all the good shows and brought in some bad ones on Nick at Nite. Everyone wants the old shows back, so just bring them back! If I was at that TV station, I would change Nickelodeon completely. I even created a new schedule. This is just a rough draft and it does not includee like new episode line-ups, just a regular episode guide. Leave your comments on it, and make sure to talk about my othere thoughts above. Thanks!

Thanks Nicole, I like All That too. I watched nickelodeon in the late 90's and early 2000's, it was still good then, but it just went downhill after that and now it is really bad.
Answer:Haha I agreee with you! Although I am a bit too old to be watching Nickelodeon much anymore (I'm 23)... I catch it whenever my nephews put it on and I'm so disappointed! I was raised on the awesome shows and great line up on Nickelodeon in the early 90's and the quality of the shows has really declined. And like you said, the good ones are so rare and hardly ever aired! I do still enjoy Spongebob now and then but when they only play repeats all the time I'm sure it just makes most children want to change the channel all the time. The stupid things in between shows are pretty dumb too.... and not funny-dumb... just dumb.
I like your line-up, if only you could send it to the big execs over at Nickelodeon... they could use some fresh advice!
