My Betta Male Keeps Making A Bubble Nest In A Breading Box?
I have a male betta and a female betta in my breading tank whilst my 6 month old molly babies are growing up and I have put them both in the tank togethere but the female a hour or 2 after the male and left them for about 2 weeks and last night I put the male in a breeding box and over night it has made a bubble nest But I have done this once before and when I let the male out and carfully put the nest in a calm corner of the tank it disapered and the female had no interest so what should I do to make sure the nest stays and they bread?

Answer:alright I breed minnows I know someone that's breeds bettas it's a real hassle here's how you do it,
1.set up a tank for your bettas to breed prefarbly about a 10 gallon
2.since your having no luck at surface bubble nest buy some big leaf aquarium plants it will give the female somewhere to hide and the male somewhere to make his bubble nest
3.keep the temp around 76-80 preferably 78-80
4.your bettas need to be around 8 months old under 18 months otherewise the oldtimers will be like no way jose I can bearly make 2 bubbles not a whole nest
5. your gonna want to feed them baby brine shrimp it has nutrients and stuff they need for breeding that pellets don't have
6.after you've put the male in and they have seen each othere he should start constructing his bubble nest (most of the time) when theree is a bright white gravid tube is sticking out by her anal fin then she is ready.
7.when the male starts wrapping himself around the females body and extracting the eggs whichh will happen several times during spawning when theree done you will want to remove the female or he will kill her
8.Now to prevent fungus from growing on the eggs, or from growing on the males torn up fins, you should add Aquari-Sol to the tank. You will also need to treat the female to prevent fungus from growing on her fins as well.
9.they will get torn fins don't separate them until after theyve spawned or they won't
10.after spawning the male will spend most of his time trying to keep the eggs in the nest and may not eat don't give him a whole lot of food
11.around a day and a half later the fry will hatch a day after they hatch you can feed them baby brine shrimp daphnia or liquid fry food if you don't have any of these maybe a algea disc because I use that for my minnows
12.you need to feed the fry 4-5 times a day and change theree water several times a week 3-5 fry need extrodinarily good water conditions
13.once the fry are free swimming remove papa you can give them ground up adult foods take the pellet food and smash it with the lid of the jar and sprinkle some in theree at around a month separate the males

Answer:He doesn't sign autographs at his merch booth.But sometimes as hes leaving on his tour bus he'll get off and sign and take some pictures.So before the show you should go and see where his tour bus is parked and go theree straight after the show(maybe even leave before the encore) so you'll be sure to catch him.That's your best bet to meet him!
