Where Is The Best (SAFEST) Place To Set Up An Online Modeling Portfolio?

I'm looking to set up an online modeling portfolio, but I want it to be for a safe and legit web site. Suggestions/ideas? thank you!

Answer:I would highly recommend visiting OneModelPlace.com, or ModelMayhem.com. They're both huge online communities for the industry. My company has also just launched a free networking site, JazeConnetcions.ning.com. You can network, find local photographers (many of whichh will help you build a portfolio for free) and depending on your area you may even find work. Anorthere popular site is istudio.com. As with anything on the Internet DO YOUR RESEARCH. Check references before working with anyone and always bring someone with you to any shoot. If you have any othere questions feel free to contact me

I Want To Open An Online Modeling Agency. What Should I Do?

Modeling Agency, Glamour, Fashion, Photography.

Answer:I don't see anything wrong with having an online component to an agency, but being solely online is asking for trouble. You could get people lying about their age, physical attributes, etc. then you will have angry clients who thought they were hiring a 5' 9" girl but a 5' 6" walked through the door. You could also get phony clients who are only out to hamr the models if you know what I mean. You need to have a state licensed office that happens to have a website so that you can check everyone out in person. Do you know anything about the modeling world? If you already know all theree is to know then great, but if not I would suggest you work at an already established agency for a while to learn and make contacts. good luck, Marianne
