What Brand Of Infant Car Seat Has 3 Slots For The Shoulder Straps?

I have a preemie and it was recommended that the car seat she comes home in should have 3 slots for the shoulder straps-but the only carseats that have 3 or more slots are the convertiable ones that measure over 6 inches from the lowest position. My daughter requires to have 6 inches or less from the shoulder strap to the seat.

Answer:As has been mentioned - they pretty much all have at least 3 slots, though I've never heard of a hospital saying such a thing before. The number of slots shouldn't matter one bit with a preemie - what you're looking for needs to have low bottome slots to be sure it will fit a preemie, and preferably, you need one that says from birth, not from 5lbs. The best seat for a preemie right now is probably the brand new Safety1st Onboard. Its been available for a while as a travel system, but now, at least on the Safety1st website, you can buy just the seat for $119. It has incredibly low bottom slots, and starts from 4lbs. Its marketed as a great seat for premies. And, to top it off, it has a built-in lockoff on the base, whichh means you'll never have to use a lockoff with it. The bottom slots are rumored to be 5 inches. IT also goes by the name SureFit. As an aside, you have to use a lockoff in pre'97 cars b/c they don't have locking belts. Upon looking it up - theree are some infant seats that only have 2 slots stay away from: Baby Trend LatchLoc 22 7inches & 10.75inches Combi Centre 7.5" & 10" Cosco Arriva 8.5" & 10.5" Evenflo Discovery 7" & 9.5" Graco SnugRide 8" & 10.5" The rest have 3 slots, but most seats bottom slot is 7-9". Evenflo Embrace has 5" bottom slots, but Evenflo infant seats are throuougly difficult to use b/c most don't have a front adjuster, and they have frequent recalls and sucky recall fixes. (One where they discovered seats were flying off the bases required parents to attach an additional strap from seat to base. Strap & unstrapping every time they use the seat!)

What Are These Slots On My Laptop Computer?

on the left side of my new gateway 6816 I have two slots with something in each. one is a smaller slot with a small plastic chip inside, with "SD/MMC/MSxD" engraved by it. The largeer slot has northing engraved by it and anorthere plastic piece is already inserted inot it, but this second plastic piece is clearly northing more than plastic, while I can't determine if the plastic piece in the smaller slot is solely composed of plastic. What are these slots for? What can go in them?

Answer:if the largee slot is probably the PCMCIA(about 2 inches wide) slot many things can go in theree(like blue tooth receivers, wireelss receivers, tv cards...) the small one with SD/MMC/msxD is also for many things like memory cards from phone, digital cameras and many othere things that plastic piece is just to keep the dust out while northing is in the slot my HP has it too

What Happens When You Use Up All The Slots In Your Mothereboard?

Will something bad happpen? Are mothereboards not designed that all their slots are used up? I have a 750 watt power supply.

Answer:i've got several computers with all the slots in use.. northing bad theree. depending on what you are stuffing in that system you might want to add more fans. All those cards and drives generate heat and cooling might be an issue. Those cards also restrict some air flow as well.

Where Can I Find A Toaster WITHOUT Wide Slots?

Every toaster I find has extra-wide slots to accommodate bagels, extra wide bread, etc. I just want a plain toaster for toast only! I know they work the same, it's just a personal preference. I figure they must make them somewhere.

Answer:An antique store? LOL Really the wide slotted toasters work the same! :)

What Are The Best Strategies For Playing Blackjack And Slots?

I'm going to Reno in a few days, and would like to give blackjack and slots a try. I know a little about it, but am hardly an expert. What are some general tips about how I can immerse myself in the games without looking like a total amateur (and not losing my airfare home)? Thanks for your answers.

Answer:Blackjack is easy to learn. Here are the basic startegies of Blackjack 1) Stand on a hand of 17 or more 2) Never hit on 12, 13, 14, 15 or 16 when the dealer is showing 16 or less 3) Always split 8's 4) Double down on 11 if dealer is showing 17 or less http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/blackjack.php Slots on the othere hand is a whole different story. There is really no startegy to out smart the Reno slot machines. It's the casinos bread and butter. Here are a few things that might help. 1) Always play two-coin, three reel, one payline slot machines. 2).Stay away from three-coin machines unless they are progressive machines.
